Avantis Education is celebrating after receiving an award for ‘International Digital Educational Resource’ at this year’s Bett Awards.
The coveted international award was recognition for the company’s continued innovation and development of ClassVR, the world’s first, and only, VR/AR solution designed exclusively for the classroom.
Comprising all the necessary hardware, software, content, tools, training, and support to successfully deploy virtual reality in schools, ClassVR is used by more than two million students across more than 90 countries.
Commenting on the award accolade, Charlotte Kenny, head of client engagement at Bett, said: "Congratulations to Avantis Education for winning in the International Digital Educational Resource category. I'm so delighted that their innovation, hard work, and dedication to transforming the teaching and learning experience through technology has been recognised."
"The Bett Awards are a benchmark of excellence, and it is important to bring together trailblazing companies from around the globe who can inspire and learn from one another, and to celebrate the incredible impact of their creative solutions."
The Bett Awards are a highlight of Bett UK, the world's biggest EdTech event, which takes place annually at London's ExCeL Centre. This year, across three days it brought together 30,000 stakeholders - including 10,000 education decision-makers, 600 innovative EdTech and resource solution providers, and 400 speakers. Exhibiting on stand NJ30, Avantis Education showcased the benefits of ClassVR and the Eduverse to visitors, demonstrating how immersive experiences improve knowledge retention and student engagement.
The Bett Award winners were announced on Wednesday January 24th in a ceremony at The Brewery in London. For a full list of winners, visit the Bett website.
